Justin Wiley is a Graduate of the Writer’s Bootcamp 6 week program and the 2 year Apprenticeship Workshop in Santa Monica, CA. At XG, Justin is in various stages of writing and development on multiple projects including “Down Hill” (co-written with Jim Clemente), a dark and gritty drama about a very intense and unique FBI agent. He’s working with Chris Voss, former lead international FBI hostage negotiator, on a drama series centered around that world. And he’s also co-developing and writing a science fiction project focusing on the government SETI program.
Justin was mentored by Kevin R. Sullivan on his debut script City Line Avenue, a script that blends the inner city and the suburbs when a high school student is forced to sell drugs for a young, savvy gangster. That lauded script landed him representation with Principato Young.
Justin also has a great interest and insight into the prison system and is working on a project that shows the effects of prison and the struggles people have once released.
Justin received his Bachelors in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Film Studies while on a Track and Field scholarship. He worked as a social worker in Philadelphia before entering the world of Real Estate where he was a loan officer, broker, and investor.
