Grant Anderson

Grant Anderson 1.jpg

Background: Grant is a producer and entertainment executive with nearly 30 years of experience in the television industry. Often described as a "true hybrid", he has spent nearly equal amounts of time serving at the television series show level in both production and post-production, as well as high-level creative executive roles on the studio and production company side. He most recently served as President of Shane Brennan Productions where he developed series television in addition to providing production company oversight of the hit CBS drama NCIS: Los Angeles for the past 8 seasons, and served as Executive Producer for TNT's King & Maxwell. Prior to joining Shane Brennan Productions he spent 6 years at CBS Television Studios as Director and then Vice President of Current Programming overseeing a slate of top CBS crime drama series including NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, and Criminal Minds. Grant spent his formative years working in production under producers John Wells and Christopher Chulack on the first six seasons of the hit series ER, and earned his producer stripes working in production and post-production on multiple John Well's produced pilots and series including NBC's critically acclaimed Third Watch.

Expertise: Having divided his time over the past 27 years between both the on-the-ground show side as well as corporate-creative side of things, Grant has a truly unique perspective on how the needs of the show intersect with the needs of the studio and network at every stage - development through series - and every level, both creative and practical. This ability to act as "universal translator" of sorts between these two important sides of the total television equation is crucial in ensuring the long running success of a television series.
