Background: Peter is a media industry executive with over 20 years of experience in publishing and television. Peter has written and/or produced nearly a thousand episodes of television across dozens of series in many genres including food (Flip My Food), renovation (Fix It and Finish It), wildlife (Animal Atlas), comedy UGC (What Went Down), travel (The Coolest Places on Earth), paranormal (Unsealed: Alien Files), hybrid scripted/non-scripted series (Bizarre Murders, Act of God) and many true crime docuseries for Spike and Oxygen. As a development executive, Peter has taken over a dozen series from concept to launch and partnered with syndicators, cable networks, production partners, and international distributors. He began his career in the editorial department at Outside, the adventure magazine, and has edited and written for Tribune and McGraw-Hill. Peter is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied acting at the Atlantic Theater studio, and acting and directing at the Film and Television studio. He has a Masters degree in writing from Oregon State University where he taught and co-developed the undergraduate writing curriculum for OSU's E-Campus.
